Background: Deploying the same Foundation Model across multiple independent forecasting systems risks propagating systematic errors or biases inherent to the pre-trained model.

Question / Future Work: Systematic biases or zero-shot errors present in a general-purpose foundation model for time series forecasting can consistently manifest as mispredictions across various downstream transportation applications, necessitating robust, problem-specific evaluation and continuous performance monitoring.
