Transferability of Multitask Findings

Background: Multitask learning, where crop type and farming system classification are optimized concurrently, yielded limited benefits in one configuration, suggesting the signals might be largely separable under the tested conditions.

Question / Future Work: How the finding that crop type and farming system signals can be learned largely independently transfers to other regions, different sensor types, or alternative modeling strategies remains an open question requiring further investigation.
