Graph VAE Degeneration Mitigation

Background: Generative models for time series forecasting, particularly those employing variational autoencoders, can sometimes suffer from latent space degeneration, leading to identical or uninformative outputs regardless of the input variations.

Question / Future Work: Further investigation or design modifications are needed to definitively prevent degeneration in the Graph VAE module within the Graph Structure Aligner, even when the Graph Refiner is present or considered.
